Anamay Soto

Hi! My name is Anamay Soto. I am a highly motivated professional with an interest in pursuing a career in the communication field. I will graduate from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi in Aug. 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies. After graduation, I plan to take my graduate degree and decide if I will continue with my master's in Communication Studies or Professional Counseling. I am a motivated, determined, and hard-working student. When a project is given to me, I always do my best to do my task the right way. I am a goal oriented person. My goal is to graduate with honors and I can proudly say that with my GPA, I am graduating with honors from Texas A&M University Corpus Christi.

I am all about positivity in life. I love dancing with my Zumba Instructor friends because dancing is one of my favorite things to do. I also love to sing and cook, I love to eat! My satisfaction in life is to spend quality time with my husband and kids. ​School is vital for me, especially since I have three beautiful children. I want them to grow up knowing that giving up is not an option. I did my best to finish my studies and did not give up no matter what circumstances I faced while achieving my goals, because we all have to deal with some challenges along the way in life. I am grateful for my family's support, especially my husband, who always supports me mentally, emotionally, and physically so that I can finish my studies.

 

I am grateful to all my professors who helped and believed in me, from my Del Mar College Communication professors to my TAMUCC PR and Communications professors. I am forever grateful for all the knowledge and skills I gained from their valuable classes. I cannot wait to apply all the skills I have gained throughout my college years in the real world. I am ready to gain more skills not only in Communication and PR, but to learn more to grow as a professional individual.
